  9.  Follow John's advice.  But if you have a Model 80 with just the motherboard
  10. parallel and serial port, the Netgen -c should work. Be aware there is a bug
  11. with netware 2.1x for use with the Model 80s. When configuring a model 80 as a
  12. server for the first time, NETGEN will not recognize LPT1 as a printer when you
  13. need to configure printers.  All you would get is COM1 as printer X as a
  14. choice.
  15.   The work-around is to use the Model 80 (ver 1.02) reference disk and
  16. configure the parallel port as LPT2.  Then run Netgen and the Netware
  17. installation routine will see LPT2 as LPT1 and allow you to configure it as
  18. network printer X.  Then go back to the Model 80 reference diskette and ch
  19. change the parallel port BACK to LPT1.  It works, I've had to use it.
